On two fronts, even! Tabletop Micro-Game with Griot Anthology and one of my favorite Poems in Like Salt and Wet Soil

Griot Anthology

Griot Anthology is a collection of Micro-TTRPGs that's currently itchfunding. Organized and written by Black Folks in celebration of Black History month. And we're hitting it from all angles, from Hope-core Afro-futurist Space Travel games to Splatterpunk terminate-all-Nazis romps, and dominoes-based storytelling engines about bringing a loved one back from the other side. My submission is called "MINES", where players embody traditional Caribbean entities of the supernatural variety, and wield their powers against a colonizing force in support of a local population.

Featuring:
Basil Wright | BrieAnna Allen | Bluu Smith | Laura Simpson | Navaar Jackson | Quinn Murphy | Shan Wolf
and of course, yours truly.

Like Salt and Wet Soil

Like Salt and Wet Soil is a collection of poetry from writers and performers that attended the Rhyme and Lime events at Bajo del Sol in St. John over the past few years. My "Oh, Dragon" is featured, alongside amazing work by other artists, including but not limited to:  Dr. Hadiya Sewer, Nyda Simmonds, Raven Phillips, and Tiphanie Yanique. It's like 100 of us.

This anthology the culmination of 5 years of an event helping artists find each other and build community, and it's really a wonderful read. I'm not the only newbie published, and the list of amazingly talented writers is actually kinda nuts.

You can grab a copy if you reach out to Bajo el Sol!
